After meeting at work, Brooke and Sonny were instantly curious about each other. Brooke resisted initially, wanting to keep things simple and not date someone from work. But luckily that didn’t last long, and after Sonny made what sounds like a statement right out of a movie, “if you would just say yes to me, I would love you with every fiber of my being,” they stopped fighting it. Less than a year later they both knew, and that’s when Sonny planned a weekend away in an adorable town at beautiful cabin where the could escape together. After enjoying amazing food and wine at a favorite Italian restaurant, he continually asked Brooke what she wanted for dessert. Even though they never order dessert, they did on that night. And it arrived, topped with a beautiful diamond ring :) Sonny took a knee and shared sweet words just before Brooke teared up immediately accepted!
You know that feeling of putting on your favorite pair of jeans? The ones that fit just right and maybe even put a bounce in your step? That’s how we felt after Brooke and Sonny’s engagement session. Their fit is effortless. Their personalities compliment one another. And they are so comfortable together that every little moment is cozy and beautiful. After photographing B&S with the picnic they brought along, the four of us sat together. Surrounded by glowing light and beautiful trees, we shared each of our love stories over a bottle of white. And theirs? It was adorable :)
