We anticipated and looked forward to Jody & Chris’ wedding day all. year. long. We are super excited to share their images on our blog today! You might remember these two from their engagement session this spring with their fabulous pet bulldog, Bernie :) Jody and Chris are one of the most mellow, genuine, and easy-going couples we have had the pleasure of photographing. They laugh, they tease, they have amazing style, and – bonus! – they are both from Wisconsin! There was absolutely zero stress and/or worry on their wedding day, it was just the two of them doing what they were so clearly meant to do — be together.
The amazing crew at the mezzanine salon in Minneapolis made all of the ladies shine with gorgeous hair & make-up…
The interior of the salon was incredibly cool with all of the color & aged brick!
Meanwhile we have Chris and the guys, getting ready at the church.
One of the adorable flower girls’ expression was too precious not to share! She was all dolled up with pearls, flowers, and mascara… a little girl’s dream :)
Jody and chris planned a beautiful day featuring soft, romantic pinks, touches of light blue & green, and lots of ivory.

The light was absolutely glowing behind them as they made their way in!
The pews were beautifully decorated with wreaths similar to Jody’s bouquet.
J&CS’s ceremony was sweet and personal. Their pastor had everyone laughing as he recalled stories of his dinner date with them!

After their ceremony, Butch and I were excited to play with our newlyweds in the Saint Anthony Main area!
The light was out-of-this-world amazing, and Jody & Chris were a dream to photograph. They are as beautiful on the inside as they are on the out!
We also made a few stops on Summit Avenue in Saint Paul where we created some of our favorite images from their day!

After amazing amounts of portrait time on a perfect early November day, we made our way over to the university club in downtown st paul for their reception…
This venue so perfectly matched the tone and style of their wedding day!
They even included Bernie in their day! Everyone was able to enjoy his good looks from their dinner table ;)
Why have cake when you can have cupcakes!! They were deeeelicious.
Every inch of the University Club was stunning!
J&C danced the night away with all of their loved ones, and we have no doubt that they will continue to celebrate their happy-ever-after for an infinite number of years to come.
