This Saturday Wausau held its first annual Susan G Komen Race for the Cure and WOW was it ever a success!! Initially they were hoping for 1,000 race participants and I think we were all blown away by the 2,200+ that showed up to share their support. Having participated in various cancer walks for the past six years, when we were asked to come down and photograph the event there was less than a moment of hesitation. We had a gorgeous morning and everywhere you looked you saw survivors hugging friends and family, lots of team spirit, and our 400 block covered in pink!
