This {love post} is long overdue! We’ve been so busy catching up on wedding posts {2 more to go and we’re up to date!} that we haven’t taken time for our Butch&Kelsy love posts :) So basically, we’re just going to dive right in and fill you in on what we’ve been diggin’ lately…
Now that we’re back in Wausau and knee-deep in the area’s summer events, we have seriously found ourselves addicted to concert on the square Wednesdays and marketplace Thursdays. You know what that means, we {love} the 400 block!
Venturing less than a block away, we must also urge you to check out as many of the Grand Theater’s shows as you can! Perhaps we are slightly biased because this beautiful building is where we had our wedding reception just last fall, but aside from that we are huge fans of the fact that Wausau is graced with the presence of such a community-focused and affordable theater! We’ve got some pretty big names coming through during the 2010-2011 performance season and are stoked to be both sponsoring and presenting a handful of them!! Come see us, we’ll be there lots, and we might even be taking your picture :)
This one word puts both a sparkle in our eye and a hop in our step: netflix {can you hear the chant… “net-flix! net-flix! net-flix!”}… okay enough of that! embarrassing yet true, these little red envelopes brighten our mailbox and the days that follow! Sadly, we haven’t seen a movie in the theater since Michael Jackson’s “this is it” last November. Because we are often “too busy” to go to the movies, we catch up on all of the latest and greatest with froyo and extra chocolate syrup from the comfort of our own green couch… not sure what we’d do without Netflix! :)
le bicycle — yes, we’ve turned into those people who find more gratification in biking to our destination than driving! Weather permitting, of course… and as long as it’s not TOO far away :) So if you see two goofballs biking around downtown with cameras strapped to their backs, chances are it’s us!
And because every post is infinitely better with a photo, here’s a few snapshots of us just last week… doing what we love!
