RACHEL & ZACH | MINNEAPOLIS WEDDING

This story dates back to april 25, 2009. That’s when we first met Rachel. she stood up in Claire & Andy’s wedding which we shot in 2009, and we were excited to hear from her months later with the exciting news that she was engaged! Rachel and Zach’s wedding day was HOT! And I don’t just mean the good-looking bridal party and outrageous reception venue, I mean it was almost 90 degrees on that toasty saturday in May! Heat aside, we so enjoyed being part of R&Z’s celebration. their ceremony was so heartfelt, I’m not sure there were many dry eyes in lakes free church! The locations they chose for their ceremony & reception were so picturesque that we didn’t even need to make additional photo-stops… you’ll see what i mean as you scroll down. We absolutely loved the earle brown heritage center‘s field of red barns! Luckily R&Z did too ;) Rachel and Zach are an amazing couple. They live in Atlanta and have so much faith and light in their lives! They have shared this with others on mission trips, and that alone tells you how big their hearts are!

fFom the moment we stepped in the salon, the girls were this expressive all day long :)

Rachel’s dress was gorgeous!

Zach getting ready after some basketball with the guys!

One of our favorite pictures of a bride with her ladies of all time!

Love Butch’s shots of all the guys!

The flower girls were SOOOOO cute, just look at them!

Zach & his Mom’s first view of Rachel coming down the aisle — these are the moments.

The story of how R&Z found each other was so special — what better way to meet than through church & friends! They are genuinely glowing in the photo below {sitting here with a big cheesy smile on my face as I write this. I’m such a sap}

We continued on to the earle brown center for part 2 of the day —  in come the red barns!

Two views of the same series of moments… we love shooting like this :)

And here is where we spent the rest of the night celebrating…

{lovely little details}

Rachel’s Dad’s speech aside their sweetheart table…

zach’s dad {who was also his best man!} had a great speech too!

One last congrats to the newlyweds!
