We can honestly say that we view wedding photography as such an honor. To document one of the most important days in a family’s life is so special and uniquely theirs. bBcause of this, we look forward to every wedding regardless of location, time of year, or length of our coverage! Hannah and Drew’s wedding was no exception to this. From the first phone conversation I had with Hannah, I knew we were hands-down, 110%, completely on the same page! From our shared love of green wedding shoes to the barns and fields and tents that shaped the photography she desired! Butch was excited too, he likes barns and fields and tents just as much as I do ;)
As their day approached and we discussed timelines, photo-spots, etc, we grew even more excited! The day before their wedding, we were looking at the weather forecast and chatting with Hannah about “plan b” options in case that 70% chance of rain for every hour of their day became a reality. We made plans for rain jackets and cute umbrellas which we were equally as excited about, and knowing H&D and their awesome bridal party they would’ve been up for anything! But, due to the powerful amount of prayers that went out that day for a rain-free friday we had no use for the cute umbrellas! Hannah and Drew had a gorgeous wedding day and were absolutely glowing all day long!
Because we have so many photos to share, we are going to tease you a little bit and break them up into three posts! So, to start things off let’s take a look at the preparation that went into getting ready for their wedding :)
I met the ladies at Hannah’s parents house while Butch went to meet the guys so we could both capture their day straight from the beginning! This is Hannah’s dress… the only word that comes to mind is this: jaw-droppingly-stunning!!!!

Loved all of the lace details

Vintage necklace & the belt Hannah wore for part one of the day… just wait until you see the second one! that will come in post 3 :)

Bvlgari perfume & peonies … oh how nicely they fit together on a wedding day!

And this is her groom, Drew!

The guys got ready at a family friend’s house … which just happened to be fully equipped with a perfectly weathered red barn and HORSES!

In case you haven’t quite yet gathered, this couple has some serious style!!

These shots of Butch’s rock my world. i’m a little jealous i didn’t get to spend any quality time with the horses {just look at those eyes}

Drew, keeping his groomsmen on schedule ;)

Annnnnnnnd just because I can’t help myself, here is a tiny sneak peek of what’s coming next… {the portraits}
