ESCALATE LIVE

Wow – it’s been over a week since our last post! Things have been super busy over here! Last week we had the privilege of attending escalate live in Newport Beach — a conference for photographers! We heard from some of the photogs in our industry we look up to most: Jasmine Star, David Jay, Dane Sanders, Becker and Jeremy Cowart, to name just a few of the amazing speakers! Each touched on a different aspect of the industry/profession, but all inspired us in a unique way. Though we were there to listen to some of the top wedding photographers in the country, we were also able to connect with them on such a real level! They were an open book & seemed as excited to meet us as we were to meet them! In addition to mingling with those we admire, we were also able to connect with fellow photogs who are in varying stages of their business. With that said, we have a few exciting changes that we’ll be making and can’t wait to share with you! Meanwhile, please enjoy a few of our favorite images from the trip!

Whis is the Lido Theater — such an awesome location for a conference!

Meeting jasmine star was a definite highlight of the trip for me! Winning a shootsac was pretty awesome too, but it doesn’t quite measure up to meeting the photographer I follow more than any others!

After soaking up as much as we could from two full days of escalate, we were excited to soak up some of So-Cal’s scenery!

We rented a car for the day {Mercedes! First time. Whoa!} and wiggled south to Laguna Beach for an afternoon of exploring. Check out the places we found!

We were so excited to find someone to snap a photo of the two of us! Taking pictures of each other is fun, but we like always them better when we’re together :)

We also made our way to the beach! It wasn’t quite warm enough to swim, but we certainly put our toes in the water and took it all in.

Right in this area we saw three sea otters! Should’ve snapped a photo, but we were to busy smiling at them ;)

So now you know what we’ve been up to for the last week or so. We’ve got lots of editing, album designing and blogging to do, so stay tuned for our 3 latest weddings!
