OUR LOVES | TAKE ONE

Life is all about relationships, right? We certainly think so, which is why we thought it would be fun to share with you a bit about us & things we are in love with. And that’s exactly what we’re going to do. Feel free to comment if you love these things as well! We would love to hear what YOU love! We’ll be adding to this list of “loves” from time to time, so stay tuned for more insight on us.

We seriously love Northern California. You could even say we have an addiction to it. We have been there several times and given the opportunity to go anywhere else in the United States, chances are we would still incorporate a pit stop to Healdsburg and Sausalito! Why do we love it so much? Well, aside from the adorable downtown in Healdsburg {yes, this is Kelsy writing!} there are wineries surrounding in every direction. For those of you who didn’t know, Butch’s mom has a wine + olive oil shop in Door County, WI, so we can say our passion for wine runs deep. Here’s a photo of us in wine country on our honeymoon this past September – it was crush season, so all of the grapes were on the vines!

This next photo shows you the second reason we love California – the twisty, turny roads enclosed with gnarly trees. There’s another amazing view around every corner – it’s like you don’t want to blink and risk miss something!

We also L-O-V-E coffee. We can drink it morning, day and night, and sometimes we do! Every morning we share a pot at home and later venture to a coffee shop where we get our usuals – Kelsy:latte, Butch:cappuccino. We actually have a secret ingredient that we add to our coffee. It’s something that is good for you, something that we don’t get enough of, something that is often combined with apples. Wondering what it is? We’ll tell you. Click here :)

One last love for today – it’s one that is particularly relevant at this time of the year! We love the first snowfall as much as the first sight of green on trees in the spring. Not to say that this in-between period where we see mushy grass and dirty piles of snow can be nice too, but we really love the crisp, clean, bright changing of seasons. Let’s all hope that fresh greenery is coming sooner rather than later!
