This is such a fun blog post to share with you all! In case you missed our first entry featuring three things/places we are crazy about, take a side-trip HERE and read that one first :)
Aside from the fact that we are just saying hello to spring and warm weather here in the midwest, our true love comes out to grace us with its presence year-round. Even when we are buried up to our noses in snow and slush, sunshine can brighten the coldest, greyest and dreariest day of the year. Yesterday we sought out to soak up some vitamin D on a walk around our neighborhood and snapped a few sun-shower photos while doing so. This is us in our “today is Monday and i don’t feel like wearing make-up or leaving the house today” attire. Naturally, the make-up thing applies to the wife half of this photographing duo only!
That brings us to the very next thing we love just as much as the sun’s rays. Live music! Of any kind! In any venue! We share a love for the following and often listen to them for hours on end, day after day: John Mayer, Jack Johnson, Pearl Jam, Norah Jones, DMB, Michael Jackson, Jason Mraz, Kings of Leon, Tom Waits and Van the Man. {Butch just chimed in: if I were writing, I would have mentioned Pearl Jam first, but that’s just me.} So now you know where he stands! Here’s a photo from our little point and shoot of the last concert we made it to – John Mayer in St Paul on March 2nd. I decided the day before the concert that we absolutely, hands down, had to go and managed to find us last minute tickets online!
This third one will not come as a surprise to anyone at all, but we absolutely looove photo booths! We had one at our wedding this past September and are magnetically drawn to hop in and take every one we see for a test drive! here are a few from our collection of photo strips. Let’s just say, we make faces.
