GRAND DAY FOR A PHOTO WALK

Today was very rare in the lives of Butch and Kelsy. It’s Saturday and we had no wedding, dog show or portrait session on the calendar! A day of freedom from all responsibility. What did we do with our lovely little Saturday? Well, we started it off by sleeping in. After that we split a pot of coffee, then headed to national camera exchange to pick up some film for our holga. Aside from being an awesome word, Holga is SUCH a fun camera! It’s more like a toy – made out of 100% plastic, light as a feather, yet it produces some killer & completely unpredictable images. So we get to Grand Avenue and decide to take a little stroll. So many fun photos were taken — or so we think. We won’t get the film back for a few days, so at this point we’re just anticipating the results. Stay tuned, we’ll share them straight away!!

Because every blog post is photo-worthy, here’s two {Holga-style} from the winter of 2007 in Wisconsin :)

admin - yes! they’re made by the same people. the diana looks like fun too! http://microsites.lomography.com/holga/

Melanie - Is a Holga like a Diana camera?
