Regardless of whether the name Ansel Adams means anything to you or not, his wise words should. this quote is descriptive of our style and ultimate goal as photographers. It speaks volumes. They say a picture is worth a thousand words–we say this phrase, this statement, is worth a million.
Why create awkward poses & document falsified scenarios when you can do the alternative? With every session, we set out to capture the real YOU. The one who giggles, wrinkles their nose and throws their head back in laughter. The you who is comfortable with your surroundings. The you who everyone knows and loves! Because a photograph documents a moment in time, we want that photograph to reflect truth & honesty. How you were feeling in that moment, what you were thinking in that moment, your style in that moment, your attitude in that moment. we want it all — so bring it all!
Each of these moments make us want to burst out into song … and you know what we’d sing? … “How sweet it is to be loved by you!”
